Awareness

Awareness is the ability to be in a constant expansion with the whole aspects of your being.  Self-awareness is the first step in the journey to your true self.  The more you comprehend and see inside yourself the more you understand the functionality of the whole universe, stepping out of the limited self, limited mind, limited consciousness and start activating the bigger self, the bigger mind, the bigger and most authentic you. 


Imagine yourself in a dark room, there is nothing but space and darkness, let’s light on a candle. We can say that the candle with the flame represents our conscious awareness in space.  Now, we can see that there is more light in the room right? But, still being some space that light can’t reach out, what if we bring more candles and with the same flame that we have, we start lighting on the other candles,  there will be more light in the room, allowing you to see more clearly the whole space,  Awareness was the ability to know that there is more space to fill with light, it was the same that give us the knowingness of where to put the candles with the flame to light up the space. Those candles can be the new patterns that you implement with consciousness awareness about yourself, a new perspective of seeing the space around you; And how you perceive yourself in that room, which plays a role that you are doing to fulfill The bigger picture of space.  


In other words, awareness gives you the opportunity to see more of yourself with the conscious mind, and with the process of self-remembrance you are able to understand reality from your unique point of view, you will see that everything is in perfect harmony for you to experience and growth. 

Some Vedas from Buddhist culture mentioned, “awareness as the tool for the soul to remember the path to source”.


## Awareness equals constant expansion


Expansion requires awareness,  and awareness requires expansion. Both can not go in separate ways, there is always a sense of growth when we start becoming aware of our reality and the role that we are playing. 

Where is awareness, there is growth with expansion of perspective, We reach higher levels of consciousness where compassion, acceptance, forgiveness, bliss, happiness, power, trust, knowingness are the first emotions that pump up, as a way of indicating the new states of expansion and growth that we are entering. 


The mind gets lighter and our old perspectives about life situations change,  we project a new way of perceiving life. We claim that power in our conscious mind and we step in our power.  We become the ones who see and contemplate reality. It’s Interesting because the word meditation comes from Latin meditat- ‘contemplated’, from the verb meditari, from a base meaning ‘measure’; related to mete.


 In other words, Meditation is the act of contemplating and measuring your experienced reality.. just observing, just allowing to be, just observing the self that you are, and just allowing the flow of thoughts to pass through you... connecting with higher realms of your own consciousness and expanding the perception of your own self. In a few words, gaining awareness of your experiences without reacting, Just seeing the whole picture of it.


Just by setting the intention and wanting to grow, we are developing and working out the neocortex part of the brain where awareness is placed.  As a tool, we need to know that it is always available for us. 


## Awareness as the source of living


Living through awareness requires to focus on where are we putting our energy constantly, we go out to live in an unconscious motion based on the patterns that we have in our system. These programs run in ourselves in a constant motion, and as the vehicle, we experience that constant flow of cycles that can represent our actual living.

If we don’t start being aware of that flow of living, we are going to repeat cycles, again and again,  that’s why conscious awareness is going to be the source and the core for mindful living.
